Students Explored the Future of Hydrogen Aviation with Tomark Proton

May 12, 2026

Tomark Proton was proud to take part in the event “Study Technology in Slovakia”, organized by the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava on April 28, 2026, at the Slovakia Ring. The dynamic event brought together high school students, academia, and leading technology companies under one clear message: technology drives economic progress, and technical education is essential for Slovakia’s future.

The event emphasized hands-on interaction and bridged the gap between theory and real-world applications. Students had the opportunity to explore the entire “life cycle of technology” — from energy systems and advanced materials to engineering, manufacturing, autonomous systems, and the future of mobility. This holistic perspective strongly resonates with Tomark Proton’s own philosophy. We see technology as an interconnected ecosystem of solutions capable of transforming the future of transportation.

One of the highlights for us was meeting talented and curious students eager to learn and engage in meaningful discussions. At our booth, we invited them to test their engineering thinking through interactive quizzes and challenges — from identifying the most energy-efficient aircraft to selecting the optimal hydrogen storage solution. These activities naturally opened discussions about the complex journey from the first idea and design phase to testing and real-world deployment.

Students showed particular interest in our innovative hydrogen-powered aircraft propulsion system supported by battery technology. Many were eager to understand how fuel cells operate and asked insightful questions about the development process — from initial concepts and efficiency challenges to the current prototype construction phase. Discussions also focused on the advantages of hybrid propulsion systems, hydrogen tank safety, wing aerodynamics, and even the precise calculation of aerodynamic forces acting on aircraft wings, including lift, drag, and torsional moments. Their curiosity demonstrated a genuine enthusiasm for engineering and real-world technological innovation.

The event also highlighted the vital importance of connecting education with industry. Platforms where students, universities, and companies can collaborate create fertile ground for new partnerships, innovation, and future career opportunities. Slovakia has real potential to become an economy driven by research, development, and advanced technologies — and talented young people are at the heart of that transformation.

At Tomark Proton, we believe that true innovation emerges where talent, education, and practical experience intersect. We are proud to have been part of an event where the future of technology and aviation is already beginning to take shape.
